Village of Bloomington Wisconsin
The Village of Bloomington, Grant County Wisconsin was first named Lander in 1859 after a landowner Isaac C Lander. Lander was changed to Tafton in 1890. Tafton was named for Delos W Taft who put up a gristmill in 1852. In 1867 Tafton was changed to Bloomington.
